I wanted to share some news with you that brings a mix of emotions. After careful consideration, heartfelt reflection on the past and an appreciation for what l have achieved, l have made the decision to close the doors of Pablo & Kat fashion brand. Although there is an underlying sense of excitement for the future, it is tinged with a sense of sadness. That being said, I know in my heart the time is right to take this action.
What started as a labour of love has ended as so much more. I started the Pablo & Kat journey with two main goals. The first was to put aside the fear of failure and finally do what l had always wanted to do which was start my own fashion label (a bucket list moment). The second was to offer quality fashion pieces and share the experience of feeling confident, strong and powerful when l dressed the way l wanted to. I could be authentically me. Not only did l achieve both of these but I created something that reverberated positivity throughout all aspects of my life. I got back so much more than l ever dreamed possible.
The team and l have always strived to maintain the highest standards of design, quality and customer service. We have been 110% customer centric ensuring that your online shopping experience was better than walking into a store and from your reactions and comments, we are proud to say that we achieved this.
I understand that this news may come as a disappointment to many of you who have followed us and embraced our brand. I hope our legacy is that every time you wear your Pablo & Kat pieces, you find the strength and confidence to be the best version of you. We hope that it plays a part in your own self-love journey.
We truly appreciate the trust you, the curvy community, placed in us and it is because of you that we were able to grow and thrive as a business. Many of you probably don’t realise that every kind word, email, card, message, note and phone call that we received gave us purpose and inspired and motivated us to be better on a daily basis.
Whilst we may be closing our doors, we encourage you to continue to support small Australian businesses, there are some incredible curvy fashion brands in Australia all wanting to service the needs of the curvy community.
Over the coming weeks, we are going to take the opportunity to reflect and share some of our memories that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We will share our closing date as we move closer to it (which will be soon). In the meantime, we encourage you to enjoy the discounts that are currently on offer on our website.
As we close this chapter, l want to personally thankyou for your support and loyalty over the years. It has been an honour and my privilege to offer you my Pablo & Kat Collections, and l genuinely appreciate the trust you placed in my brand. You allowed me to follow my dream.
